Progressive muscle relaxation is a method used by music therapists to bring awareness to tension in the body by tensing and releasing muscles in progressive groups. Practicing progressive muscle relaxation frequently can increase your awareness of tension in your body, therefore helping you release those muscles to prevent chronic pain and stiffness.


Use Alex's video to slowly tense and release the muscles in your body as she instructs. Enjoy the sound of her piano playing as you focus on your breathing and relaxation.
